While looking for a suitable water bottle, I came across the Cuppe, which perfectly matched what I wanted. First of all, it looks beautiful and has a convenient straw. I ordered two to try, and I really love them after using them.
The seal is excellent; when closed tightly, I don't have to worry about leaks. At first, I was a bit hesitant and worried about not sealing it properly, but I got used to it over time.
Regarding the material, since it's made of glass, I don’t have to worry about a metallic taste with stainless steel tumbler or scratches that can occur with Tritan materials, and it can hold hot water, which I really like. However, the glass is heavier, and I'm concerned about breaking it, so I hesitate to take it out.
As for the straw, I'm used to silicone straws, so it took some time to adapt, but it was not an issue at all.
I hope the glass straws will be available for purchase soon. I believe the transparent material is easier to notify if it’s clean.
I'm very satisfied with the cleaning process; it’s dishwasher safe. However, when I sometimes used the other bottle for coffee and cleaned it with a regular green sponge, it seems to have caused some scratches, which is unfortunate. Also coffee can stain the white part of the lid.
Overall, I am very pleased. The bottle with a straw has increased my water intake; it feels like I finish 500ml in no time! I would consider purchasing a larger bottle and hope that the bottom of the bottle could have a silicone…
